Porteus-v5.0rc3 x86_64 bug reports
I think viewnior does, well technically, viewnior just uses gdk-pixbuf loaders which are supplied by other packages eg. webp-pixbuf-loader or libheif or libjxl .. in any case the last updates (see porteus settings centre>update porteus) include the above mentioned change ie. any module including a ...

Missing library in Remmina module
quickest fix:We would be very grateful if we would be able to use remmina, preferably with the x86-64 version of Openbox. Maybe there is a common fix for all the mentioned scenarios.
Code: Select all
getpkg libdbusmenu

have tried your new modules (available on some mirrors), but it's hard to tell if the fsck is running during startup. Actually, there are a few early error messages on the console -- briefly flashed before my eyes before porteus goes to the next loading stage. I wish I could see those error message...

1) Could you advise me first, where should I be adding my environment variables then? possibly create a "my_variables_or_whatever_name.sh" (or several) in /etc/profile.d/ with your exports in it. ? (make sure it's executable) 2) Also, is it normal that /opt/porteus-scripts/ is not in my PATH by def...

in v5.0 missing ld.so.cache
yeah, i'll add it to the init processes somewhere for the next update..
in the meantime, workarounds are:
activate a module
possibly: cheatcode: cliexec=ldconfig
or stick it in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
