Install on i686 CPU

Here you can post about the issues related to modifications performed manually (not through the kiosk wizard). Example: swapped kernel, added 3rd party modules or files.
Please describe in detail what has been changed and hopefully other kiosk user will be able to help.
Porteus team wont resolve bugs posted in this category as we support only modifications made by the kiosk wizard.

Install on i686 CPU

Post#1 by jmbmichael » 03 May 2017, 21:07

Is there a way to get this to work on i686 hardware? I have some thin clients that I'd like to see about repurposing.

Hello jmbmichael,

You could use 3.7.0 release which is not developed anymore but is still available for 32bit PCs:

Thanks
