The OBS project is an open source initiative to supply screen casting software for many platforms.

I just try it and here the error I received.

I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.

Looks like your video card is not supported. Or it could be that when I compiled the module it compiled only for my video card. Can someone else test it?

works for me...(after i figured out how to add a screen capture etc)
my card: AMD Madison Radeon HD 5730
