I don't know if this related to what was already reported but update-flash doesn't work with latest Opera from update-opera. I ran root and had Firewall off for it to download. Opera just doesn't see it even if I restart it after.

newer Opera is built on Chromium with the Blink engine, so needs the pepperflash plugin from google-chrome.. update-flash only provides flash for mozzilla based browsers... brokenman may consider writing an update-pepperflash at some point (seems ubuntu has a package https://help.ubuntu.com/community/OperaBrowser)

Where does cinnamon save the keyboard settings? I can't find it! I want to change US to US-international, so I can write for example; ají, coño, Higüey in Spanish with my US-keyboard. I can change it but cannot make persist!

It should be in /mnt/live/memory/changes.....I guess, but I cannot find it :%) ..Or is it a bug?
Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).

You're a life saver. Thanks, mate. :Yahoo!:

Found it on USM. Searching pepperflash should find the package if anyone else is needing it.

xfce 64 bit
Wifi support / internal wlan card broken on HP elitebook 2540p
Wifi still worked on last rc i tested (rc2 with kde desktop).

Is it worth to try other desktop environment or will wifi most probably be broken on all releases???

I thought it was me but sometimes it switches keyboard back to English US when I've changed it under Porteus Settings Centre >> Keyboard Settings to English UK. I've even got config Cheat Code kmap=gb for it. One reboot it fine but random time it switches. :(

kde5 in dual display and back to one display (laptop only).

If I move the panel to standalone display in dual display mode. The next time I use the laptop only there is no way I can get to the kde panel, except creating a second one. Did not found a solution yet.

Thanks.

I just had a nightmare past 2 hours trying to grab and post the terminal logs for the non-response my PC was having. Managed to get top terminal command results.
http://i.imgur.com/GpGnxUa.jpg

Also I noticed NetworkManager Applet was showing disconnected icon. Telegram was also saying connecting in corner of its app but my WiFi is fine. This is probably what was causing it to lag near non-responsive since the mouse is going extremely slow. Moving and clicking doesn't always perform a click action. I saw 3 Opera listed before that was over 100% together.

Actually CPU going full on Panel CPU monitor that has a 10 second delay refresh rate as I'm writing this. But all I'm using is Opera for this page and imgur to upload that screenshot, with guest Terminal:

Cinnamon x86_64

brokenman, you are forgot again :D to fully replace /usr/share/nemo/actions on my nemo-actions-fix-by-blaze.xzm

I do not have a complete translation into Russian - look at this screenshot
Image

With my actions it looks like this

For example 90_new-workspace.nemo_action

your

Exec=sh -c 'dbus-send --dest=org.Cinnamon --print-reply /org/Cinnamon org.Cinnamon.JumpToNewWorkspace >/dev/null'

Selection=None

Extensions=any;

Conditions=desktop;dbus org.Cinnamon;

my

Code: Select all

Cinnamon continues to have trouble from always fresh with Dual screen Radeon/AMD/ATI Render acceleration enabled for R300/R400/R500 type cards.
If hardware acceleration is disabled - all works fine (but slowly).
On a different PC with single display and Intel integrated graphics all is fine (but scrolling has a couple of seconds lag on FireFox)
If the screens are "Mirrored" acceleration works fine, but then I have only one display's worth of data.
Nemesis continues to work fine.
This is a screen shot https://www.dropbox.com/s/0yhwagsdcek94 ... 9.png?dl=0
If you follow the link you can see that the right most 25% shows black - on the real display this contains sometimes black, sometime blocks from the rest of the image.
The mouse knows the "true" screen dimensions, so you must click sometimes up to half a screen to the right of where the menu item shows.
The Xorg.0.log is https://www.dropbox.com/s/pdv5gyah6vr69 ... 0.log?dl=0
