No is there a 3.2 version or will the 3.1 work?

Check if the bluetooth works after replacing your existing modules with the ones in the testing folder: http://dl.porteus.org/x86_64/testing/
I been using and checking it looks good. I will tell you if I find any problem with the new 001, 002 and up-to-date Mate 1.15.1.

Just keep up the good work your doing.

Excellent. Don't forget to start the bluetooth service before starting:

Code: Select all

chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth
/etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth start

I was hoping to make a porteussave.dat and when I restart Mate it would remember my setting but I was wrong. Can I be something wrong? Where should it be on the USB and what should the command line in porteus.cfg cause I have never done this before on both.

Just copy /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth to the root copy folder.

chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth
cp -a --parents /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth /mnt/sdXy/porteus/rootcopy

sdXy is where your porteus install is. Now when you reboot bluetooth should be automatically started. I am not much help with connecting to your phone.

Let me understand this. Just do this below?

Code: Select all

chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth
cp -a --parents /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth /mnt/sdXy/porteus/rootcopy
Will I have do this again below after what did above?

Code: Select all

chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth
This is where I am real smart about or dumb doing.
EDIT:
What you told me works great. Thanks

Excellent. You only have to copy the file to rootcopy once. Rootcopy is like a changes folder that you can use to load miscellaneous files into the system. They are the last files to be copied into the live file system.
