Touch screen problem

Here you can post about the issues related to modifications performed manually (not through the kiosk wizard). Example: swapped kernel, added 3rd party modules or files.
Please describe in detail what has been changed and hopefully other kiosk user will be able to help.
Porteus team wont resolve bugs posted in this category as we support only modifications made by the kiosk wizard.

Touch screen problem

Post#1 by mero » 25 Mar 2015, 13:53

Hi,
please I have problem with my Porteus Kiosk 3.3.0 with ELO 2440L touchscreen. In lanscape mode is everything fine, but in portrait mode ( screen rotation to right ) we cannot control through touch . For example: when I touch left upper corner a mouse cursor appears on right corner of the screen.
I think it is a calibration problem of driver.
Please can you help me immediatly?
Thanks for quick answer.
Best regards

@mero,
you have to find the name of your touchscreen controller (you could login through ssh or generate debug report) and then follow advices from here:

Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.
