Screensaver

Post#1 by jurgonh » 18 Mar 2015, 00:24

Hello.

I hope that i´ve posted in the right area.

Im totaly new to this.

Im am volontairing in a NGO, and we are thinking about having a kiosk computer in the entrence of our club house, locked to our homepage, calendar and so on.

I have read the documentation and hava a good idea on how it works.

But i would realy like to change the screensaver so it can show some kind of slideshow with pictures from our organization.

Can somebody help me with idiot proof "how to" on how to solve this

Thank you

With the package manager:

Code: Select all

root@porteus:~# usm -g xscreensaver
Prendre son temps, profiter de celui qui passe.

This is all I can do personnally for you. I never tried that on the kiosk edition. You will have to experiment by yourself.

You should have posted in the kiosk edition section for better service.

Have a look at that post for customisations and kiosk:

Code: Select all

If this is not sufficient for your needs there could be the commercial services for a more than reasonable fee:
