Post#1 by Nouatvs » 07 May 2014, 23:41

I create silverlight plugin (windows flash player) 32bit for Firefox (works on version 29).
The rai.tv on line uses silverlight.

certainly useful. i can't watch the content on my fav polish news site as they use silverlight.
any chance to get 64bit version (or maybe this proprietary soft is 32bit only?)?
Please add [Solved] to your thread title if the solution was found.

i use this site for make it.http://alien.slackbook.org/blog/pipelig ... -browsers/

it says <<... If you are running 64-bit Slackware, then you should download the 32-bit version of the OpenAL package and use the “convertpkg-compat32″ program in order to create a multilib “compat32″ package. You need to install that, instead of using the 64-bit package, otherwise Wine will not work:

# convertpkg-compat32 -i OpenAL-1.15.1-i486-1alien.tgz
# upgradepkg –install-new /tmp/OpenAL-compat32-1.15.1-i486-1aliencompat32.tgz ...>>

Note: Chrome not uses user agent addon and Silverlight works

@ftm it doesn't support all silverlight content (my one day x64 test) but I didn't use all proposed steps by alien (convert, fonts).

Some months ago I installed it, but DRM videos does not work (encryption).
I test here http://playready.directtaps.net/smoothstreaming/
There seems to be a problem with xattr in AUFS (inexists).
Maybe in slackware works well in a ext4 installation.
