Re: ppm
PPM will test if your 'modules' folder is writable and drop the modules there so they load at every boot. If 'modules' is not writable, the modules will be dropped into /tmpPPM not drop the packages in / tmp /.
Please specify which module you are trying to resolve dependencies for so I can take a look.slacky-d looking for the dependencies low but can not find it.

Re: ppm
For example: Midori
The porteus iso and folder is on a NTFS partition booting with EasyBCD.
I run PPM and down the package (modem light blinks) and says your package is waiting on / tpm /, but is nonexistent. (Similar to slackyd-d - as PPM found, asking if you want to download it, shows the progress of the discharge, however, is not down)
However, if I mark the box (convert to PPM after download), then download and already converted package is stored in a subfolder of the porteus (NTFS)
This is by way of reporting. I managed to solve the old way. No problem
