Hi,
On my Porteus v2.0 64 bits I used the Porteus Settings Center to change the Keyboard Settings.
I selected the "Select local" Belgian in place of France and let the "Select variant" as "(none) use defaults".*
After reboot it does not consider the previous changes even if it gives me a popup window telling me that : "Your settings have bee applied".
The setting is well considered while I am working but after a reboot the settings are back to the initial ("France") keyboard settings.
What is wrong ?
Does it need a update of the main Porteus keyboard management ?
Sincerely thanks to consider this as a serious bug.
Have a nice day,
Miguipda ;-)
[Solved] Keyboard settings = not registered
Re: [Solved] Keyboard settings = not registered
Hi,
as explained using the Keyboard Settings in the Porteus Settings Center does not consider the keyboard changing after a reboot.
I solved it by doing it back through the Porteus Settings Center and also changed the Keyboard country in the Staus Bar (Keyboard - KDE Configuration Module). then by selecting the be and removing the fr it has been considered when rebooted.
Sincerely thanks and have a nice day,
