[SOLVED]Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion

Post#1 by Bootlegger_Bob » 16 May 2017, 21:59

Hi,
totally new to porteus and linux but I get the above message when running

Code: Select all

usm -u all
It also says

Code: Select all

Failed to create temporary directory. Fatal
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it?

I've got Porteus set up on a 4gb thumbdrive with the first partition set as ntfs and the second set up as ext2 (this is where porteus is running from)
I have a 200mb porteussave.dat file and I've edited the porteus.cfg file to my liking.

Regards
Bob

I don't know the answer to the 1st question but the 2nd one may be due to Porteus being on an ext2 partition and save.dat files are only needed on FAT & NTFS partitons.

Curious, is your thumbdrive a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 thumbdrive?

It's a usb 2 thumbdrive.
Came here to tell you that the problem kind of fixed itself... don't know what I did but I do have another problem now but I'll post that in another topic
