[Solved] Cannot find slackony or alien packages

Postby MatthewScholefield » 11 Mar 2017, 21:57

I'm trying to install libc++ so, I search for it and found it. However, when I go to install it it isn't found even though I just updated all databases. Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks!

Code: Select all
$ usm -u all
...
$ usm -s libc++

libc++-3.8.0-x86_64-1_slonly.txz was found in slackonly [not installed]
Packages found:   1

Use:   usm -i <package>  for more info
Use:   usm -g <package>  to download

$ usm -g libc++

 Nothing found for:  libc++

Yes I know, this is happened because this
week, I rebuild and update my repo for both arch.

Some packages still missing, as it takes a lot of time
to build all the packages, and some of them have few
problems (missing sources, compile errors, etc).

My repos at this moment is 80% complete, and
now I am in processes to find the problems.

Until the next week some packages expect to
missing for the repo...

Thanks

Just got a reply from Slackonly.

That's from last month , there are loads of packages that give errors until he fixes it.

https://pkgs.org

They have a slack 14.2 section you can try.

Thanks everyone! I found out just searching on Google I could find the same package and if I need something else I'll try changing mirrors. I'm marking as solved.
