Torrent link & GCC

Hi Guys,

First of all, thanks a lot for your contribution to this forum and to the development team for this great distribution! :)
I am looking for a torrent link, because I live in a place where the internet connection is not very good :(
Is there an official one? I haven't found any on the website.

I also need to install Porteus on a laptop which has no ethernet port. I have the Wifi driver on a USB drive. This driver needs to be compiled with GCC.
Does the distribution include it in the ISO? If not, how to get it?

Thanks! :)

No, not included in the ISO. You need to download and activate 2 modules to compile your driver. You need the 05-devel.xzm module (which has gcc) and the crippled_sources.xzm to compile your driver for the kernel.
If your are using the 64bit version of porteus, you can download them from here.
If 32 bit, then here.

No official one, but we did one for the RC. Don't know if Jack would be able to put one up for you. :unknown:
