Hello,
first I would like to thank the whole Porteus community for the work that has been done.
I like Porteus very much, but have just begun using it. I used a Debian Custom Live CD before, which was cool, but unhandy in some parts.
Porteus is better. But there is one thing which I miss. Debian Live CD/USB can have a persistence.conf file, which specifies which folders you want to have persistence on.
Because I use USB drives for Porteus, I am
1) concerned about flash wear off, when too much data is written and
2) speed. Less data to be written on flash drive means more speed.
So, is there a cheat code or something to specify which folders I want to have persistence on? If not, how can I achieve something like that?
Thank you very much!

Hi welcome to porteus
i think what you're looking for is Magic Folders
there is a function in the 'Porteus Settings Center' to help set it up..
