On a fresh install of Porteus, how do I get the package manager USM to actually work?
All attempts to run the package manager result in nothing. No activity of any kind. No windows. No popups. No error dialogs. No icon changes. NOTHING.
Its a pretty icon on the system tray and the menu that does nothing at all.

I just like Slackware because I think it teach you about Linux to build packages where Ubuntu is like Windows you just install programs you want.
