Anyone using a VPN service with Porteus

Post#1 by jeff4892 » 11 Jun 2016, 04:42

Is anyone using one of the VPN services with Porteus? If so, which one? I'd like to set up a VPN. I'm OK with paying a monthly fee but before I spend the money, want to know it works with Porteus.

Thanks to donald's sharing, am happy with http://www.vpnbook.com/freevpn. Don't mind even if provided courtesy of NSA. 8)

@jeff4892: Once I set VPN with Porteus. It worked ok; the cost was for me to high, I thought it was for one year, and it was for a month. That was SaferVPN, they were very polite and helped me configuring the connection. That I must say.

For privacy I stick to TOR. It is free and serves the same purpose. I start Vidalia when I want to connect to tor and use Chrome with the proxy plugin SwitchySharp to switch to TOR to navigate anonimously.

Regards!
Porteus is proud of the FASTEST KDE ever made.....(take akonadi, nepomuk and soprano out and you will have a decent OS).
