Is there a boot log?

Post#1 by jpagan » 19 Feb 2016, 21:53

Hello all,

Can somebody tell me if Porteus has a boot log? I am trying to troubleshoot a problem that happens when the guest user is trying to login.

Hi, apart from dmesg , there is quite a bit of information to be found within the files in /var/log. :)

Hi francois,

Yes started using from last week. Having 1gb of RAM only on my desktop thought of searching slim linux and landed on porteus. The lag may be due to graphics driver or not setting of swap memory.
