Wifi password not recognized after Porteus reboot

I am trying to use /rootcopy/ save my Wifi password.

I have put the following files into /rootcopy/:
/etc/dhcpcd.duid
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf
/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/MyWifi (my connection is called "MyWifi")

The password is inside of that last file, and is still there after disconnecting.
During the same session, I can reconnect okay.
However, when I reboot Porteus and try to connect to wifi again, it asks for the wifi password (even though the password is still in that last file).

In one of the log files, I see this:
"nm-applet-Message: No keyring secrets found for MyWifi/802-11-wireless-security; asking user."

Any ideas what I'm missing?

That last file should be all you need to copy over. Also check the file permissions.

I install my Porteus 3.1 Mate in ext4 and when it bootup I pick "Graphics mode (Mate). When I shutdown it save all my setting. If you do it with ext4 format you shouldn't have a problem and I been doing for years now. My Desktop is Mate it the same on all of them.
