Bluetooth on XFCE

Greetings & Happy New Year All and Porteus!

I USM-downloaded both bluez and blueman to get a bluetooth mouse running on XFCE but there's no effect. Even when I hit the Blueman Bluetooth Manager in the main menu no such manager pops up. Any hints such appreciated!

Hi

does your bios have a setting to disable bluetooth and is it set?

also an old dell I have has a hardware switch that can be configured by bios to allow switch off or on wlan and bluetooth and cellular (modem)

In Nemesis there is bluez-firmware which is needed by Broadcom 203x and STLC2300
