Google Drive crashes system

Hi,

I have discovered Porteus this week, its great! Allows me working anywhere without needing to carry my laptop along...

However I have one major problem. I am using Porteus with Google Chrome. Everything works pretty good except Google Drive. Everytime I open it the computer comes to a freeze for 15 seconds, after that I can work very very slowly until I close it.
Memory usage is high for the Google Drive tab (as it usually is), but so is in GMail and it doesn't behave the same. Also I use "top" command and don't see lack of memory.
Strange thing it happens only on the main page of Drive. If I open a document, and then close the Drive browser, things get back to normal.

I am using a computer with 2GB ram and another 2GB swap file. This computer runs Drive fast and good with Chrome on Windows.

The latest version of Google chrome is 44.0.2403.155-1.
If yours is not, please update and try again.

Upgrading chrome didn't solve it.
Its not a temporary freeze, the system becomes completely unusuable until I get to close the Google Drive tab (takes me about 10min to reach terminal with Ctrl+shift+f2 and kill it)

See if magic SysRq is a bit quicker, should it work: Alt+SysRq+f :)

I have no troubles with this using Porteus v3.1 64bit and chrome Version 39.0.2171.99 (64-bit).
