Not working well in Google Doc

We are using this for our students to access Google Docs (a bit like a Chromebook)

Works well except for the following two problems:
1) Students need to be able to search for images and then cut and paste them into Google Docs. As there is no right-click they can not copy the image
2) In google docs (I was working in slides) if you try and copy and item from one slide to another you get told you need to install a free google web app - or something like that; and this is not possible.

Any ideas on getting around these to issues?

Hello rcadmin,

"1) Students need to be able to search for images and then cut and paste them into Google Docs. As there is no right-click they can not copy the image"
You may enable right mouse click in kiosk by following this post:
http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php? ... 891#p17823
It will reveal an access to additional items. Not sure how much you need to have the kiosk locked though ...

"2) In google docs (I was working in slides) if you try and copy and item from one slide to another you get told you need to install a free google web app - or something like that; and this is not possible."
You can install extensions in Chrome easily by following this post:

In case of troubles i'm ready to help through the commercial service:

btw: this is the question in regards to kiosk - isnt it? If yes then please post in the kiosk section of the forum:
Porteus Kiosk Edition

Thank you.
