Xfce localization to English

Hi,

could someone experienced, please, help with Xfce desktop localization to English lang?

i used Porteus Settings Center to create
sda1/porteus/modules/locales-en_US.utf8-x86_64-1prt.xzm

, so now i have two modules in the folder:
locales-en_US.utf8-x86_64-1prt.xzm
and
locales-ru_RU.utf8-x86_64-1prt.xzm

i clicked 'RU' module, it asked to Deactivate, i chose yes.
it says that some files a still used, so it can't be deactivated.

if i click 'EN' module, it is the same.

there must be a catch somewhere, i cannot get it ... :(

Add:

Code: Select all

LANG=xy_XY.utf8
to ~/.bashrc (one user)
or edit /etc/profile.d/lang.sh (all users)

You must logout and login to change locale. No need to use locales-en_US.utf8-x86_64-1prt.xzm
You have mind and feelings. Be wise and clever.
