How to install a gtk theme?

Hi, I'm using Porteus 3.1 Final i486 XCFE on my flashdrive. And here's my problem :( .

For couples of weeks I'm using Debian distros as my OS, but then I stop because my laptop finally meet its end (it's already worn out by the time I use linux the first time). And I find this Porteus, so I installed it on my flashdrive. What suprise me that I didn't know that Porteus is Slax distro, so... I kinda lost.

After few times installing and re-install, I made up my mind I'll use XCFE as my DE. But then the looks is a little bit dull. I want to use KDE, but KDE is too "heavy" on my flashdrive and most of machine I use around me. And that's lead me to get some theme.

I saw there's gtk theme installed already in this DE, and that's make me think if I can install some more. I've download a theme here and also some icons here . But still... I don't know how to "put" the theme into the list.

What should I do?

hi
One way is to make a folder named " .themes " in /home/guest/ and place your unpacked theme there..
same goes for icons... ie folder named ".icons" ..etc
this will be preserved in your changes
