Chrome and Sherwood Dungeon Doesn't Work in 3.1?

Greetings! (using 3.1)
In an effort to fit MMO games on a Porteus flash drive we're tapping Browser based MMOs, and the nicest one so far os "Sherwood Dungeon" (no membership necessary!) wigh is all 3-D and smooth running! Sherwood works great in XP (32bit) with Opera Stable and latest Firefox, but at least in Porteus, in Firefox and Opera, Sherwood gets agonizingly close to starting, even the startup animation and music runs up, but the majority of the log-in text and links are missing! Can't go on! I assume that this either a Java or Flash issue in Porteus or Linux as a whole? I was told by XP users to try Chrome in Linux because it has the most advanced Flash 16 version built-in (supposedly all PCs run Flash 16 now so why browser games work so well?) while Linux standalone Flash only goes up to 11.2. I used USM to download and convert google-chrome-39.0.2171.65-i486-1sl.xzm but it doesn't seem to run. I tried to download basic Chromium but it a box says Brokenman has to fix this.
Any maven hints wold be most appreciated!
