Lost Swap

Post#1 by Bogomips » 23 Nov 2014, 19:06

AF 32 bit

Shortly after booting into KDE, noticed a swap parition was missing.

Code: Select all

root@porteus:/home/guest# swapon -s
Filename Type Size Used Priority
/dev/sda11 partition 130044 125056 1
root@porteus:/home/guest# swapon /dev/sda7
swapon: /dev/sda7: software suspend data detected. Rewriting the swap signature.
root@porteus:/home/guest# swapon -s
Filename Type Size Used Priority
/dev/sda11 partition 130044 122284 1
/dev/sda7 partition 530108 0 -1
Last suspend was on XFCE. Noticed no problem during reactivation. Before returning to KDE experienced a problem on Mate, where after logging out, could not log back in again as cursor was lost. REISUB did not work, so had to do h/w reset.
