Question about video conferencing app

Post#1 by jmurrinux » 31 Mar 2014, 01:03

Hey forum, what would be a good video conferencing application to use in Porteus?
Tried the Google+ Hangout by converting the .deb file into .xzm it doesn't work for my Porteus install

Thank you!

Hi jmurrinux,

You can try Skype. It's one of the option you can choose when downloading Porteus under VoIP Client.
or download from here:

If you would like to use Google then you may try Google Talk Plugin.

[Solved] Question about video conferencing app

Post#3 by jmurrinux » 05 Apr 2014, 01:45

Thanks, I'm using Skype and it is working fine. That was an easy module activation.

bdheeman corrected the module for Google+ talk-hangouts now the module activation is working.

For somebody interested I post here the direct link to the module:
http://porteus-apps.org/sites/default/f ... 64-1_0.xzm
It can be browsed in this web site for Porteus modules: http://porteus-apps.org/
:Bravo: I'm happy :D
