How do you mount a PTP/MTP device?

Post#1 by WavyLinesAreNotReal » 09 Dec 2013, 02:46

My goal is to transfer folders and files between my computer and my new tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 3) via the USB cable.

The device supports MTP protocol; and if the computer OS does not support MTP, you can switch it to PTP protocol.

So my question is: How does one mount a PTP/MTP device with Porteus?

That's a good start. However, there are few features I would like to see added.

For example, gmtp doesn't allow you to send more than 1 file at a time. After a while this can get tedious when you have large directories.

The other weakness is renaming files doesn't work.
