The cheatcodes really refer to using the TAB button after booting to the boot menu, and also for editing the porteus.cfg file. In this case one must NOT add the equals sign before the 'from=' string. I have added your request to the online documentation and will leave it up to our docs man if it will be added to the actual cheatcodes.txt file in the docs folder. Thanks for your valuable input.
