Porteus edition choices confusing???

Last Tuesday I said my students: "...and now for next Thursday, please download Porteus-2.1-KDE iso burned on a CD....".
Nobody brought it on Thursday. The one said he wouldn't find the right edition and the others meant the same.

Lazy boys :x

If I go to http://www.porteus.org/, then clicking the "Download it"-link
(placed above the Globe) take me to "DOWNLOADING PORTEUS MANUALLY"-site.
Then click "Download here"-link and you see Error 404... :(

btw: nice to see the "Shame on you!No Joomla fan uses IE6 in 2010"-Banner
because my Linux fake my Identity to winXP with IE6..LOL

Confirmed! But that is a little floppy and will be corrected by Hamza as soon as he reads these posts! I bet....

I've fixed the download link but do you think the 'download now' link on the main page should point directly to the web wizard? Much less confusing IMHO.

Less confusing could be:.....(imho)
main-page
click the "Download now" - button > next Page:
"you can download a preconfigured/ready to use Live-Cd-Iso
choose 32 or 64 bit (dropdown-menu)
choose DE (dropdown-menu)
> download

you can also build your own iso, tailored to your needs, with our unique
web-wizard...link > wizard-page.

(your decision which option you want to be 1.st)... :)

Finally one smart student brought the right iso. All others made a copy of it. A girl brought a Kiosk-edition we used to show the possibilities of Porteus.

A second session borrowed an iso from the first session; we did the same....

Solved :)
