Thank you. :)

I'm not in a position to question code that brokenman or other experienced techs post as being incorrect. My knowledge of the linux root directory structure is limited to say the least.

OK. Yes, /home/guest/ does indeed contain a .config folder which in turn contains multiple other folders including an autostart folder. And the syndaemon.desktop file does indeed get written to the save.dat file.

Thank you guys. Hopefully this helps with the cursor jumping problem.

Is there a setting or trick to getting to the .config folder short of manually keying it in following /home/guest/? I've bookmarked it in SpaceFM which helps.

BTW No cursor jumping keying this in. Thanks brokenman. :good:

Actually in this thread my code was /root/.config which you incorrectly converted to /guest/.config (should be /home/guest/.config)

There is no quick way to get to your .config directory. It is placed in the base of your user folder. There is no shorter path. Your file manager book mark is probably the best way.

Happy to hear it.
How do i become super user?
Wear your underpants on the outside and put on a cape.

True, but how was I to know that the root's folder structure is different than the guest's? Stupid Linux. :x

Came across this thread while searching for how to run a script at shutdown. Wow!!! What great memories. :friends: I loved the good old days.
