Porteus

Hello, I am working on a project to stream audio, So far i got darkice and icecast running perfectly. I can use the mic pins on the motherboard to input the audio but my question was I would like to use CDIN instead of MIC Pins but when I do it doesnt input the audio. I was wondering if there is a setting to allow me to do this? I have seen it done but I just dont know how to do in Porteus. I was also wondering if I save using the .dat file would it save my mixer settings?
