Hello!
First of all, English is not my native language; please excuse typing errors.
Second, thanks to all the developers, I'm only starting with Porteus, but it is super interesting to explore the possibilities.
I was trying to boot using the 'nohd' cheatcode, but it seems to prevent not only the mounting of the hard drive of my computer, but also the pen drive which contains the usb stick with the Porteus iso. What I'm trying to achieve is to not mount any other hard drive except the usb stick with the Porteus iso.
Here are the lines I edited in the porteus.cfg file:
LABEL GRAPHICAL
MENU LABEL Graphics mode
KERNEL /boot/syslinux/vmlinuz
INITRD /boot/syslinux/initrd.xz
APPEND changes=/porteus/save.dat nohd
On booting, the line " ^ searching for porteus-v5.0-x86_64.cfg file " never resolve and I get an error message saying:
"Porteus data not found
You are maybe using an unsupported boot device (eg. SCSI or old PCMCIA). ..."
Removing the 'nohd' cheatcode instantly solves the problem.
What am I missing? How am I supposed to use the 'nohd' cheatcode at boot if it prevents the booting altogether?
Thanks for you help

Help with 'nohd' cheatcode
@ Argo Navis
Try the "noauto" cheatcode rather than "nohd".

Help with 'nohd' cheatcode
That did the trick! Reading the guides, I somehow figured that 'noauto' would have the behavior that 'nohd' displayed and vice-versa...
