Indeed, me neither, except the first partition must (?) or had better be FAT32 for UEFI booting. One could just format their whole USB disk as one FAT32 partition then. I've heard it's quite bad as a file system, but if Proteus's real file system lives inside save.dat and RAM anyway, and only loads few modules off FAT32 then it's okay I guess (except that file size limit of 4Gb). I have 4 partitions on my USB disk including a proper ext4.
