And posting the output of Blaze's commands posted here will help also unknown: Porteus on Surface Pro 4 touchscreen only (Post by Blaze #93493)

For the long commands just copy and paste them into the terminal window. :happy62:

looks like you need : https://github.com/lwfinger/rtw89
you'll need 05-devel.xzm and crippled sources module for the kernel version you have..
or some nice person to do it for you..

Is there a Porteus command that unknown can run that will install Blaze's kernel to his system? Or make it a xzm module?

Added in 23 minutes 58 seconds:
 In that Blaze's tar file contains a 000-kernel.xzm and a vmlinux boot file I don't think making it a xzm module will work. I'll work on writing a script to install the files to a USB drive system. Where does the 64bit.config file go?

Added in 3 minutes 55 seconds:
But extracting the .tar's 000-kernel.xzm file and putting it in the /porteus/modules/ folder should be easy enough to do to see if it works with the RealTek wifi controller.

I tried putting the 000-kernal.xzm file in the modules folder, which I downloaded from Porteus Kernel Builder (Post by Blaze #95660). It didn't work.

Did you add the extramod= cheatcode to your boot parms? Or, better yet, rename the 000-kernel.xzm in /porteus/base/ to be 000-kernel.xyzm and move the 000-kernel.xzm from the modules folder to the base folder.

When you reboot run the debug commands and post their output.

No, I didn't add the extramod=cheatcode in the boot parms.
By renaming the 000-kernal-xzm in /porteus/base/ to 000-kernal.xyzm and moving the newly downloaded 000-kernal.xzm from modules to base folder, my laptop trackpad is not working and the screen resolution is reduced too much, everything is zoomed 10x.

For general users this file does not need coz it's for building kernel
