Where did you find a cheatcode for that? Is it in your /boot/docs/cheatcodes.txt file?

pcie_port_pm=[PCIE]
PCIe port power management handling:
Format: { "off" | "force" }
off - Disables power management of all PCIe ports.
1 - Enables power management of all PCIe ports.

OKay it is not a cheat code but a kernel parameter in

Code: Select all

APPEND
or same line than

Code: Select all

linux /.../vmlinuz
for grub

Whatever I set pcie_port_pm=off or not, I cannot suspend corectely the PC witch ignore hard drive
What to do whith NVIDIA GeForce GT 320M 1 Go DDR3 dédié?

Code: Select all

I saw some swap error messages in your screenshots. Do you have any swap partition? Is it possible to test the system without any storage unit connected (apart from the USB stick with Porteus)?

Another thing you can try is PorteuX current and see if it fixes your issue: https://github.com/porteux/porteux/releases

Good question.

can you please post the following outputs - each of these encased in its own [ code ] to make it more readable:

Code: Select all

cat /etc/porteus/*
ls -lo /mnt/live/memory/images
cat /proc/cmdline
also, please do these prior suspend and after suspend and add the info in your post which is what.

Code: Select all

free
cat /proc/swaps
Cheers!

That seems to indicate that your SATA got disconnected.

Did you try not using swapoff prior the suspend?

3936.34 MB total and 608.5 MB free after suspend should be enough for the system.

Seems like it is not an issue of the system/suspend running out of RAM.

For the reasons which could cause the SATA to disconnect I could not say, hopefully some hardware savy folks can give you hints.

Added in 2 minutes 29 seconds:
Have you tried searching the web for your exact make of your system? its exact name and its CPU specs plus "Linux suspend"?
Maybe there are threads to be found on other Linux forums where user also reported similar issues with Linux and suspend while using a very similar system.
Cheers!
