i have a problem on my hp probook 4515s with the speacers ! i can get sound only on my headphones ... but on slax i have sound ? help

Try opening 'alsamixer' in a console. It will open and show volume controls for master, headphone and speakers. If there is (MM) at the bottom of the speakers column, then press the right arrow key twice to highlight the speakers column, and press 'M'. This will change the setting to (OO). You can then press 'Q' to quit. I have to do this on my machine every time I start fresh. If that doesn't help, please give us the output of 'lspci' and 'lsmod'.

i will try it! but now just to shutdown windows :D but this linux is cool because wi-fi works !
