Hello,
That is the new patch made by someone from RedHat.
He found a solution to save the battery's power of the laptop when Linux is running.
Why Linux is eating too many resources in the laptop's battery ?
Most of Laptop of the market have been made to works for Windows Operating System using the "standard" of Microsoft Corporation instead of REAL Standard of the battery's market.
Why does it changes between the old Linux and new Linux power module ?
The ASPM has been written to make the same comportment as Windows Operating System.
That is NOT the fault of Linux Developers, but that is the fault of Multi-national who have made their product to works correctly only with Windows.
I hope this patch will be included in Porteus V1.1, especially for Ahau
