Welcome to porteus amtvaish. :D

Please provide at least some demonstration that you have tried to solve the problem, that is that you have searched the net for a driver for your printer. This you should be able to do unless you are a complete newbie to linux.

A good place to begin for information is the first post of the following thread:
http://forum.porteus.org/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=6232

Provide more information on your problem:
Are you working with porteus 3.2 rc?
Have you tried the printing module provided by blaze? What happened?
Have you tried to find a driver? (personnally I did even know that TVS was a printer brand)
Have you googled for the driver under any linux system?
Have you looked for a ppd? (see definition in the above link)

Please tell us what you have done and give some output of your troubleshooting.

So you have not searh much or you did not find nothing. I have done a search. It seems that there is no linux driver for that make and model of printer.

It is always best to make sure that the printer you acquire is linux compatible before buying it.

Sorry.

Hi francois,

I went to the manufacturer's website:
http://www.tvs-e.in/product-detail-db.a ... ro=ind_tb1

and clicking on Downloads, I found a section called "Linux Drivers".
http://www.tvs-e.in/downloads/MSP455%20 ... rivers.zip
The zip contains a Readme and two ppd files.

Could this help? You would know best what needs to be done further with these ppd files. I don't have much knowledge on printers on linux.
