I just tried 3.2rc5 on an Intel NUC6i7KYK and it doesn't work. The symptom is that the screen blinks on and off complaining about add/remove commands in xorg, but I suspect the actual reason is that the graphics chipset just isn't supported by the Intel drivers you are using.
Any workaround ideas short of building my own kernel?

That's a really poorly written page. I originally thought it was saying the chipset was unstable, but now I think it's saying that if I have a 4.6 kernel or later, it should work just fine. And it appears that 3.2rc5 is using Linux 4.7.2, right? So I'm not sure why it isn't working.
(Note that I have a lower-end Skylake system that 3.2rc5 is working on. The problem appears to be specific to this high-end NUC thing.)
