The decision was made to go with kde5 as it seems relatively stable. It is a little large but that should improve over time as the transition to an exclusive qt5 and kde5 environment is made. At the moment there is a mix of kde4/kde5.Where is lxqt?

An option to update Porteus will be added in the final release. It will check for base module updates and security patches. This will pave the way for a slackware-current version of Porteus that can be incrementally updated.
