How to download xzm from other arch than the running system?

New features which should be implemented in Porteus; suggestions are welcome. All questions or problems with testing releases (alpha, beta, or rc) should go in their relevant thread here, rather than the Bug Reports section.

I forgot to mention, for your purpose you can probably do: usm -g alpine nodeps

This should just search the i486 database, retrieve the link and download the file without dependency resolution. Not sure how you would chroot into porteus. You'd need to unpack all the modules to a real file system.
How do i become super user?
Wear your underpants on the outside and put on a cape.

It's mainly being able to get the right / wanted module. I then just transfer it to another machine to be used there.
More of a proof of concept than anything else. I just want to know it would work. :)
Cheers!
