Steam is a digital distribution, digital rights management, multiplayer and communications platform developed by Valve Corporation. It is used to distribute games and media online. The Steam client allows the user to download and play games from his online virtual software library to his local computer, as well as interact with the larger community.

Further to Steam client you will need to deploy these 2 following files too:
mesa-8.0.4-i486-1alien.xzm
http://s5.picofile.com/file/8116431092/ ... n.xzm.html
mesa-compat32-8.0.4-x86_64-1aliencompat32.xzm

Once all 3 modules activated and you accepted terms of agreement, run the steam client and it will connect to Internet to download some updates (about 200mb), these updates would be downloaded into following address (installed size:650mb):
/home/guest/.local/share/Steam/

you can take a backup from it just in case you always use copy to ram option at the beginning of booting porteus.
Teach me a lesson, I would be really grateful.
