Puppy Clock and Pschedule available

Post#1 by don570 » 23 Jul 2012, 23:21

I converted the Puppy linux programs Puppy Clock and Pschedule to Porteus (XFCE).
They were originally written by Zigbert. I've done the conversion.
They have been converted to four or five languages if you're interested.

I had to make some simplifications. I couldn't get the stopwatch or countdown to work.

But it works well as a MP3 alarm clock as well as a reminder program.

For instance you could get it to remind you to listen to the news at 6pm every night.

Just one setting is needed. :D

Puppy clock works in conjunction with pschedule. Pschedule works hand-in-hand with crond.

Pschedule has many uses for scheduling jobs. It works for the root user and guest user.
Warning! If you start a job as guest then you must be logged in as 'guest'
to delete the job from pschedules list.
