Here is Mypaint 1.2 bundle for Porteus 3.2 xfce and kde(will not work in 3.1)
Downoad: https://app.box.com/s/4f1q0gk89lp90i7j0217mibc9yqrb99c 15 mb
includes:

Code: Select all

gobject-introspection-1.46.0-x86_64-1.txz
mypaint-1.2.0-x86_64-1_slonly.txz
numpy-1.9.1-x86_64-1_slonly.txz
pycairo-1.10.0-x86_64-1.txz
pygobject3-3.18.2-x86_64-1.txz
python-2.7.11-x86_64-2.txz
added a symlink to /usr/lib/mypaint >> /usr/lib64/mypaint to make it work..
stripped out high-def backgrounds for size (30mb)
may work in other DEs, but since they include python, i'll probly make other versions...

It activated okay, but won't start:

Code: Select all

I have Mypaint 1.1 and that worked just fine. (I think I used a separate python dependencies module since I use python for other stuff as well)

yeah, this module wont work in 3.1, which is why its "Mypaint 1.2 bundle for Porteus 3.2 xfce" ;)
1.2 is a somewhat different program to 1.1, needing gtk3 among other things..(included in 3.2)
updated the first post to make incompatibility clearer...

Oh yes, my bad. Seems a good reason to finally check a rc again...

uploaded a smaller version(now 15mb) , acheived by stripping some things out of python..
seems to be working without issue in 3.2.2
