included all deps for KDE

USM is a hacking tool to download slackware packages from many different repositories

You can call it what you want but it's a part of Porteus and the official Porteus tool for downloading packages for Porteus.

@seva:
You are new to porteus and you have discovered a lot yet. However, your opinion about USM and the porteus management system is quite below it's value.

You are on slackware, not on Debian or archlinux. Porteus is a fork from slax, which is slackware based. There are some clear advantages to slackware, search the net.

Finally, you might not know that slackware comes with no dependency resolution and with a smaller array of packages than the two above mentioned basic distributions. Taking into account these limitations, brokenman's USM, is a very helpful tool. Think about the adaptation one has to do going from windows to Ubuntu.

This is a small community, we do not have yet the critical membership mass, to compete with the big Linux distributions. Not yet.
