a C# compiler and a Common Language Runtime.
and monodevelop is a IDE primarily designed for C# and other .NET languages.

Thanks too for your repository, it is very usefull.
I hope more people will publish on porteus-apps.tk
But one improvement I have: https would be better for me than http

Hi KnallKopf/freestyler,

mono download link is broken.

I am not guilty, there is something wrong.
I can not download other modules. And I can not re-upload.

you can find my modules and build-scripts in this archiv:
mono-build.tar.xz md5: 502dd2e460a1ab03c305caab3c3b3491

Archiv includes all Buildscripts still all modules that are not on official repo. (path: ./mono-build/pm-x86_64-new-5)
run:

Code: Select all

./dlRepoMod
to download all repomods.
run:

Code: Select all

./mergeRepoMod
to merge these.

I have fix it.

@freestyler
some suggestions for porteus-apps.org (because you have ask):
1.) what do you mean with: "App Version" and "Alternate text" can give an example.
Examples are always good.
2.) Some error-message.
In particular add some text to "Tags".
3.) When the upload fail can i and how can i delete the wrong file ?
I can re-upload but the file called MODNAME_NUM. This is not got.
4.) This is only a vague proposal for the future and you should think carefully.
In my opinion it is not usefull to make big repository packages for depends.
A checkbox list with single slackware, old-porteus or porteus-apps.org links, would be better.
- The conversion should happen on Server.
- You can download single modules or a choice of packages (or all) as a merged package.
- I m lazy and I have no desire to enter 31 Links on a mask. Therefore it must accept both a mask and simple txt-file with links and titles.
4a.) File upload should be extra on repository like slackware, so it is usm compatible, but for representation is this format perfect.

Thanks for the suggestions.
1.) what do you mean with: "App Version" and "Alternate text" can give an example.
Examples are always good.
Alternate text and tags are no longer needed, I will remove the fields. App version is the version of the package, so for mono 3.3.8 the app version is "3.3.8" - I will make this more clear on the form.
2.) Some error-message.
In particular add some text to "Tags".
3.) When the upload fail can i and how can i delete the wrong file ?
I can re-upload but the file called MODNAME_NUM. This is not got.
Ill have a look into this.

I agree. I think the main focus of the site should be to share modules not available on slack repositories and modules containing all dependencies. To download single modules or a choice of packages (or all) as a merged package would be sweet

Me too :), I'll defiantly do something about this.

I have thought about this alot. The only problem is that for this to work the modules must be made correctly (correctly named and a description file), That means there will be strict guidelines to making and uploading modules. fanthom has actually brought this up before, I just had a look but I couldn't find the thread(s). However a program that uses the porteus-apps.org name/description/etc is very possible but it will work a little different to a SVN repository.

I'll be back in amsterdam on the 22nd and will setup a dedicated server there running porteus, Until then things like building and merging modules will be out of the question. I got no problems putting as much time and money as it takes into this project.

Cheers.

I updated all the keys and ran the build-script. It can't find most of the modules. I had to dismiss countless of "not-found"-error-messages. However at the end it is building something. Don't know how much is missing in this final package though.

I can verify
The reason is:
http://slackware.org.uk offline and http://dl.porteus.org/x86_64/modules-14.0 was deleted

solution:
take a # before line 204 and 205 in ./mono-build/source64_mono5/dlSlackPKG or replace with this here
download all the repo packages manuelle and put them to ./mono-build/pm-x86_64-repo-5

mono-3.10.0 and monodevelop-5.0.1
