Hi tome,
meld3-3.22.0-x86_64-1_SBo-2023-08-23.xzm does not work:

Code: Select all

guest@porteux:~/Downloads$ activate gtksourceview-4.8.4-2-omv2390.x86_64.xzm
Updating shared library links: /sbin/ldconfig
guest@porteux:~/Downloads$ meld
Meld requires GtkSourceView 4.0 or higher.

How is drawing-1.0.2 compared to mtpaint-3.50?
To me, mtPaint is still the best small pixel graphics program, I use it for almost all tasks an hardly have to load GIMP.
Cheers!

Try it Rava. I think it is simpler than mtPaint, similar to Microsoft Paint, with support for transparency and it looks clear. That's what I was looking for. Every Porteus DE has file manager and text editor, but not graphic editor - drawing is an option.

(from https://mtpaint.sourceforge.net/handboo ... ap_03.html ) looks like mtpaint could be more complex... though i say so because I know what all its menus give as well as what is to be seen on its GUI.
Cheers!
