Browsing to get to know some more about virtual reality, I realised that the market for such an experience could be ridiculously cheap if you already have an android or an iphone, with the google cardboard vr headset:
https://vr.google.com/cardboard/

Some of the devices could be bought for less than 10$ can on the net if you search.

A problem with the google cardboard vr headset is that they only work with phones which has a gyroscope. My motorola g play does not have such a device.

Frazew has circumvent the problem using other devices on the cheaper phones:

VirtualSensor is a module ... ...using the values from the accelerometer and the compass which are the two main requirements for this module.

You can get the VirtualSensor app here:
https://github.com/Frazew/VirtualSensor

I am going to buy this cheap vr headset. If you already have some experience with it, this is the place to share. :happy62:

I have the gearvr which is a much nicer experience than the cardboard vr. cardboard vr has quite a narrow field of vision and the tracking is not as smooth as gearvr.
How do i become super user?

@brokenman:
This means that you have a samsung phone S5, S6, S7 or s8. So you are using applications based on the oculus rift?

A S6 could be bought here in Canada for a little more than 200$. What model of phone do you have and how is the performance? Could this be still a good purchase given that S7 is double the price of the latter?

As you know my interest for psychology, have you come across applications for phobias or psychological difficulties.

@all:
ETVR 3D VR Headset is proposed as an alternative to samsung gearvr and is sold for 40$ CAN. Can anyone give his impressions?
