salix database update failed

I wanted to download chromium-pepperflash (using usm)
But "usm -u all" didn't come to the end:
starting salix database update
downloading checksums.md5 -->
And then:
Eternal waiting, no more reaction!
And now?
What's in such a case to do?
Is there any other way to download chromium-pepperflash?
Thanks for the help
Note: I tried it several times!

The usm update (salix) issue is known -- choose a different mirror

Hello,
I have worked around the salix update hang by updating the other databases individually. All the others work but you have to exit and re-enter usm for each one separately. The usm gui makes this easy to do, although tedious.

This USM option is easier

Then to concentrate on the failing database use the suggestion
donald posted.

^ Not sure what this has to do with the subject posted but the options mentioned above should work for your problem also.

pFilesearch results:
/home/guest/.config/Mousepad
and
/usr/bin/mousepad
That's confusing: Mousepad and mousepad
Problem solved
I have to use mousepad
