Porteus

Because of many useful options
I wanted add VLC-Media-Player to Porteus.
I downloaded from the Internet:
vlc-2.24-i486-1alien.txz (41,0 MB)
I converted to: vlc-2.2.4-i486-1alien.xzm (44,7 MB)
and saved to folder modules.
A new icon appears in multimedia: VLC Media Player
But it It doesn't work,
when I click, nothing happens!
I need help. Thanks in advance

You probably need to install qt-4.8 for the GUI to work. Run vlc from a terminal and see what it shows.

You could also give this a try:
3.2.1 vlc-2.2.4 (non-kde)
